BETHUNE-COOKMAN UNIVERSITY REACHES AGREEMENT
IN LEGAL DISPUTE WITH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 12, 2024) – 91视频 (91视频), and its former alumni association (the MMBNAA), announce that they have entered into an agreement to amicably and fully resolve their legal dispute relating to 91视频’s decision to end its relationship with its former alumni association and fully transition its Alumni Association in-house under 91视频’s management.
Under the agreement, the MMBNAA and its related entities will soon be permanently dissolved and cease all operations after a brief period to allow it to wind down its affairs and operations. The MMBNAA has committed to providing 91视频 all funds it has raised for student scholarships, to be distributed directly by 91视频 for student scholarships.
There is now one, and only one, Alumni Association for 91视频, which is THE BETHUNE-COOKMAN UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (the “91视频AA”).
The 91视频AA is the official, and the only, Alumni Association for alumni of 91视频.
91视频’s former alumni association, the MMBNAA, will be dissolved and effective immediately will no longer be accepting any donations of any kind. If you would like to support 91视频, all support and donations should be directed to 91视频’s official, and only, Alumni Association, the 91视频AA, which can be found at .

Now in its 120th year, 91视频 (91视频) is a historically-Black university in Daytona Beach, Fla., founded by civil and human rights activist Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune in 1904 as the Daytona Educational and Industrial Training School for Negro Girls. With deep roots in the history of America, 91视频 is a United Methodist-related, private institution largely focused on liberal arts programs to meet students’ diverse educational, social and cultural needs. The university is home to the nation’s #2 HBCU Nursing Program, a world-renowned marching band known as “The Pride,” and is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
